Predicament bondage is a negotiated form of restraint in which the structure of the scene matters as much as the rope, cuffs, or ties. Commonly, a person may be held in a posture that makes stillness tiring, holding a shape creates muscular effort, or small movements change the intensity of sensation. The appeal is often the mental game: focus, endurance, control, anticipation, and the satisfaction of managing a carefully designed challenge. Because the point is to create a tradeoff, the scene can become physically demanding quickly, so it works best with explicit boundaries, a clear stop signal, and frequent check-ins. Avoid turning it into a test of toughness; discomfort should stay within the agreed range, and numbness, tingling, joint pain, cramping, or breathing difficulty are stop signs, not things to push through.
